Thou mayest [a]not offer the Passover within any of the gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee:

But in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to place his Name, there thou shalt offer the [b]Passover at even, about the going down of the sun, in the season that thou camest out of Egypt.

And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, and shalt return on the morrow, and go unto thy tents.
